Chapter Nine
Ian had been right. Drake felt both the spanking and the fucking for days. It was a good thing, too, since Ian had been working doubles. One of the night shift cops had had a heart attack, and while he’d live, the police department was short-handed. Ian was the newest guy on the force, so he got handed the shit jobs. They still texted each other and talked for a few minutes every day, but Drake really wanted to see the man in person, soon.
As noisy as he’d been the other night, no one had teased him, which was surprising. Salt gave him seething glances, but if he’d been outside eavesdropping then he deserved to hear what he had—Drake being pleasured like he hadn’t believed possible.
He knew from the spanking that he wanted to try more. The whip, he might be able to handle. A cane, on the other hand, might be too much. Drake wouldn’t know until he’d been on the receiving end of the whip to know if he could handle it, or if he was willing to try the cane. He needed to get the balls to tell Ian he wanted to be whipped…or at least try it. Where they’d do it, he didn’t know. Drake was hoping Ian had a secret dungeon or something. He had no desire to be taken to a club and whipped in front of observers.
Drake’s cellphone rang, and in his eagerness to speak to Ian again, he didn’t pay attention to the caller ID.
“You finally answered, you fat little fucker,” Rigo snarled.
Drake pulled the phone away and glared at it. What had he ever seen in someone who’d talk to him like that?
“Fuck you,” Drake retorted. “I don’t want you to call this number again.”
“Stop cussing. You know I hate that. Did you get the tests back?”
“Fuck off,” Drake repeated. He ended the call. He didn’t have to put up with Rigo anymore. Immediately, he called his cell service provider and spent ten minutes on the line with them, getting a new number. It was past time to excise Rigo from his life. Drake texted Ian with the information, then went looking for his bosses.
Will was standing on the back porch watching a young, hipster-looking type of guy get out of a yellow Mini Cooper. Actually, Drake wasn’t sure the guy was young. The ungroomed beard he had made it difficult to tell his age. He kind of reminded Will of one of those guys on that duck show he watched sometimes.
“Hey, I’m here to teach some owners how to mind their dogs,” the guy called out, waving at them. He looked at the pen, where four puppies barked and bounced, wanting his attention. “We’re gonna have us some fun, aren’t we, boys and girls?”
Drake’s phone sounded with a text message. His heart just about soared out of his chest when he saw it was from Ian.
Off at six. I’m tired but need you more than sleep. Dinner?
Drake replied with an offer to feed Ian then give him the best orgasm of his life.
